The Learning Commons provides numerous services for students in support of their educational goals. Located on the second floor of the Student Commons, the Learning Commons includes the Computer Learning Lab, Library Services, Online Learning Specialist, and Tutoring Services.  We have wireless internet access, private study rooms, group study areas, individual work space, and casual seating. Knowledgeable staff have expertise in academic, library, online, and technical areas.

Services in the Learning Commons include:

  • PC and Mac computers loaded with current software 
  • Large physical collection of books, DVDs, CDs, and learning aids available for checkout 
  • Laptop computers and iPads available for checkout​
  • Fast Internet connection and wireless capability
  • Copiers, scanners, and printers for general use
  • Curriculum support across disciplines
  • Tutoring available in math, accounting, writing, science, reading, and study skills
    • On Campus, remote, and 24/7 tutoring is free-for-all
  • Ability to work one-on-one with a librarian for research purposes​
  • 24/7 on-and-off campus access to:
    • full-text online academic articles and databases
    • over 180,000 full-text eBooks titles
    • virtual chat reference assistance through Ask Academic
    • online and mobile access to dozens of full-text eMagazines through Flipster
  • Loaner textbooks for most high-enrollment classes available at all campuses
