Focuses on the history of astronomy, the tools of the astronomer and the contents of the solar system including the planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and meteoroids. Incorporates laboratory experience. This course is a state guaranteed transfer course GT-SC1. Prerequisite(s): REA 090, ENG 090 and MAT 099 or higher (except MAT 107, 108, 109, 112, 175). Four credits.
