Introduces telecommunications technology and terminology and develops
a broad knowledge base for a career in the telecom industry. Requires no
prior technical background or experience in the field. Enables a student to
gain a comprehensive understanding of telecommunications technologies
and their applications and implications for business. Combines computer,
electrical engineering and business aspects of telecommunications, providing
a thorough, up-to-date presentation of the latest technologies as well as
practical industry applications. Three credits.
