Potential Opportunities: This certificate is an entry-level program designed for students seeking a career in emergency medicine. Training from this course may be used in the clinical or field setting. Successful completion of the program enables the student to sit for the National Registry practical and written exams. Program Length: This course is a 10 credit, one semester course.
Prerequisites: High School diploma or GED, 16 years of age, Reading Score of 80 or above, CPR certification at the professional level, Current TB & MMR vaccinations, and a criminal background check. Contact an EMS advisor for complete details.
