Before enrolling, you hopefully did some research about where you wanted to go, what you wanted to do, and how to afford it. No doubt you have heard claims from some of our competitors about accelerated training programs – including an incredulous offer to train nurse aides in only 11 days. Aims Community College would not make those promises because we know the real story. Training for careers in the health services area or any other field should not be a race, but a journey. Getting there faster may not be advisable in the long run. Knowing that your degree is from an accredited institution of higher education, not a for-profit business, should reassure you and your future employer of the value of your degree. We want our students to be informed consumers and understand the true cost of education.

In fact, for residents of our taxing district, Aims is the most affordable community college in the state. Even for those students who are out of our district, our costs are competitive with other community colleges.
