Catalog Guidelines for Graduation Requirements
The catalog in effect during a student’s initial enrollment generally determines the requirements for completing a degree or certificate. However, the selected catalog must be no more than four years old at the time of graduation. Students may choose to follow any newer catalog published within that four-year period, including the current one. This choice should be made well in advance of submitting a graduation application.
If a student takes a break from enrollment, they may be required to follow the program requirements outlined in the catalog active at the time of re-entry, especially if the program has changed. Any previously completed coursework may be reviewed to determine how it applies to the updated program requirements. If the program has been discontinued or is scheduled for discontinuation, re-enrollment into that program will not be allowed.
The College reserves the right to update or substitute discontinued courses, modify course content, approve substitutions within degree or certificate programs, or waive prerequisites or corequisites as needed.
