GEY 112 - Historical Geology w/Lab [SC1]Credits: 4 (Formerly GEY 121) Studies the physical and biological development of the earth through the vast span of geologic time. Emphasizes the investigation and interpretation of sedimentary rocks, the record of ancient environments, fossil life forms, and physical events, all within the framework of shifting crustal plates. Course includes laboratory experience. This course is a Statewide Guaranteed Transfer course, GT-SC1. Prerequisite(s): CCR 092 and MAT 050. Four credits.
