EMS 2031 - Paramedic Cardiology

Introduces the paramedic student to cardiovascular emergencies and the care of patients presen ting with cardiovascular emergencies. Topics will include assessment of the cardiovascular system, ECG acquisition and interpretation both single lead and 12 lead, pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease and treatments indicated for a given disease. Course is not repeatable for credit.
