RTE 1001 - Introduction to RadiographyCredits: 2 Introduces radiology including equipment, exposure, positioning and the knowledge necessary for the radiography student to provide safe patient care including communication skills, body mechanics, patient transfer, and radiography as a profession. Differential tuition rates apply. Permission of department chair is required. Course is not repeatable for credit. Prerequisite(s): BIO 1006 or BIO 2102 completed within 7 years from the semester of registration for this course; and MAT 1140 or higher completed within 10 years from the semester of registration for this course; and ENG 1021 or ENG 1022 or ENG 1031; and PSY 2440 and COM 1250; and HPR 1040 all with grades of “C” or better.
