EMS 3031 - Community Assessment

Introduces students to the role of the Community Paramedic (CP) as a member of the health care team in community assessment. The course presents concepts related to mapping community health care services, describing the demographics of the community, and assessing their impact on the health of the potential patients. The course will provide an understanding of community health services in order to understand the health care needs in the community. Course is not repeatable for credit.
