Students will learn an overview of the scientific study of attitudes, behaviors and personality variables related to health, illness and bodily systems. Emphasis is on the interaction of biological, psychological and social factors that cause illness and influence treatment and prevention. This course is a state guaranteed transfer course GT-SS3.
