COM 1300 - Communication and Popular Culture: GT-AH1

Introduces four key theoretical models for examining popular culture: Narrative Theory, Rhetorical Theory, Gender Theory, and Critical Race Theory. Emphasis is on popular American media texts, including books, comics/graphic novels, films, music, and television. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-AH1 category. Course is not repeatable for credit.
