ARE 1012 - Electrical I

Presents general safety, tools of the electrical trade, contractor owned tools, trade history and introduces electrical theory, conduit outlet boxes and the National Electrical Code. Explores the sources of electricity, trade math, laws of electricity, series circuits, parallel circuits and series parallel circuits. Other topics include organization of the National Electrical Code, magnetism laws, wire devices, service boxes connectors, conduit bending, conductors and insulators, insulation and pulling large and small wires. Course is not repeatable for credit.
