General Education Prerequisites:

BIO 2101 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I with Lab: GT-SC1 Credits: 4 *
BIO 2102 - Human Anatomy and Physiology II with Lab: GT-SC1 Credits: 4 *
ENG 1021 - English Composition I: GT-CO1 Credits: 3 ***
HWE 1050 - Human Nutrition Credits: 3 **
MAT 1260 - Introduction to Statistics: GT-MA1 Credits: 3 *
*BIO 2101, BIO 2102, and MAT 1260 may be no greater than 7 years old at the time of admission into the Nursing Program.

**HWE 1050 may be no greater than 7 years old at the time of admission into the Nursing Program unless the student has earned an AA/AS/AAS/BA/BS degree with HWE 1050 or equivalent course incorporated.

***ENG 1021 or an equivalent course that is older than 10 years may not be eligible for transfer credit unless the student has earned an AA/AS/AAS/BA/BS degree or taken the Accuplacer Sentence Skills test and received a score of 110 or higher.

1st Semester:

BIO 2104 - Microbiology with Lab: GT-SC1 Credits: 4 *
NUR 1009 - Fundamentals of Nursing Credits: 6 to 8
NUR 1012 - Basic Concepts of Pharmacology Credits: 2
PSY 2440 - Human Growth and Development: GT-SS3 Credits: 3 **
*BIO 2104 may be no greater than 7 years old at the time of admission into the Nursing Program. BIO 2104 must be completed with a grade of “C” or better before a student may progress to the second semester of the Nursing Program.

**PSY 2440 may be no greater than 7 years old at the time of admission into the Nursing Program unless the student has earned an AA/AS/AAS/BA/BS degree with HPR 1010 or equivalent course incorporated.

2nd Semester:

NUR 1006 - Medical Surgical Nursing Concepts Credits: 7 to 9
NUR 1050 - Maternal-Child Nursing Credits: 6 to 7

Optional Summer Course:

NUR 1069 - Transition into Practical Nursing Credits: 4 to 5 (PN Option only)

3rd Semester:

NUR 2006 - Advanced Concepts of Medical-Surgical Nursing I Credits: 6.5 to 8
