Sterile Instrument Processing (1-2 semesters)

Prerequisites:

• Current CPR card prior to clinical entry, criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses, and drug screen.
• Must meet current minimum reading assessment.

Certificate Requirements:

• SPI 1000 - Sterile Instrument Processing Credits: 4
• SPI 1001 - Sterile Instrument Lab Skills Credits: 4
• SPI 1081 - Internship: Sterile Processing Technology Credits: 0 to 12

• *Students must complete 9 credits of SPI 1081
