The Transitions Center provides students with the necessary tools and experiences to ease the transition into college and pave their way to academic success, graduation, and entry into the workplace or transfer to another institution. The Transitions Center includes OneStop services, Arty’s Orientation, Peer Navigators, Aims2UNC, and Career and Transfer programs and services.
Peer Navigators
Peer navigators serve as guides to all Aims students, supporting them both academically and socially during their time at Aims. Peer navigators encourage students to participate in co-curricular programs and campus events, connect to campus and community resources, and offer academic support by assisting students with study skills and technology questions related to assignments, myAims, and email. Peer navigators can be found at the OneStop, Transitions Center, and Learning Commons; look for them in their blue shirts!

Aims2UNC

Aims2UNC makes it easier to achieve your academic goals! We’ve simplified the transition between Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado, so you can focus on what matters most - earning your degree.
Students accepted into the Aims2UNC program will benefit from targeted advising, UNC engagement opportunities, and cost savings through scholarship opportunities. Program participants will work closely with their Aims2UNC transition advisor to develop a plan focused on completing a bachelor’s degree at UNC. Throughout this process, students will receive on-going updates, tips and support tailored to their personal and educational needs. Aims2UNC participants are students at both campuses, affording them the opportunity to engage in co-curricular experiences like clubs and organizations, health and wellness programs, and on-campus house to name just a few. In addition to paying Aims’ tuition rate while earning their Associates degree, all Aims2UNC participants who meet eligibility criteria may be eligible for scholarship support, up to $750 per semester, while attending Aims. For program information, program requirements, and to submit an Aims2UNC application, please visit www.aims2unc.com.
