AIMS 020 Arty’s Orientation

Aims offers on-campus orientation for all new and transfer students. Orientation is designed for students who have completed the admission process. Orientation provides students and their families opportunities to: find their classes, connect with their on-campus support network and support resources. Beginning in October 2020, students who are new or transferring for the spring 2021 term will be required to complete AIMS020 in order to register for classes. Look up AIMS 020 in the course schedule today!

AIMS 101 First-Year Seminar

First-Year Seminar will connect you to your college community! This FREE class is non-credit, AND successful completion of the class and requirements will make you eligible for a scholarship for the next semester!  Best of all, this fun and interactive course has no homework and no textbook to buy! You will make friends, engage in campus activities, find study partners, meet campus advocates and supporters, learn about the many resources available to you, and build your success network at the college. Look up AIMS 101 in the course schedule today!

Welcome Week

Aims Community College is committed to fostering a sense of belonging for both new and returning students. Students are invited to participate in Welcome Week activities which are offered at the start of fall and spring semesters. Welcome Week activities are a great opportunity to connect with other students, learn about campus resources and programs, and have fun!
