NUR 212 - Pharmacology II

Builds on previously introduced pharmacological concepts and applies that learning to pharmacologic therapy to provide safe, quality, evidence- based nursing care to patients with complex healthcare needs. Focuses on safety and quality improvement factors in the administration of medications within a variety of healthcare systems. Advanced dosage calculations included. All NUR classes require acceptance into the program prior to registration. Course may be offered in hybrid format.  Differential tuition rates apply. Two credits
Prerequisite(s): NUR 106, NUR 109, NUR 112, and NUR 150 with grades of “C” or better
