PSY 265 - Psychology of Personality [SS3]Credits: 3
Examines the structure, function, and development of personality. Investigates the major contemporary theories of personality. Covers psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive-social learning, humanistic, trait, and, optionally, neurobiological, existential, and/or Eastern, perspectives. The underlying assumptions and research support for these theories are appraised. Enables the student to gain an appreciation of the value of alternative theoretical approaches to this subfield of psychology. This course is a statewide guaranteed transfer course GT-SS3. 3 credits.
