Studies nonvascular and vascular plants, emphasizing photosynthetic pathways, form and function, reproduction, physiology, genetics, diversity, evolution, and ecology. This course requires mandatory hands-on laboratory and field experience. This course is designed for biology majors. This course is one of the statewide guaranteed transfer courses, GT-SC1. Five credits.

Prerequisite(s): BIO 105 or BIO 111 with a grade of “C” or better
