AVT 151 - National Intercollegiate Flying Association ICredits: 0.5
The purposes of NIFA are to promote, encourage, and foster safety in aviation. These purposes shall be fulfilled by developing and advancing aviation education, conducting Regional and National Safety And Flight Evaluation CONferences (SAFECON) and promoting, encouraging, and fostering communication and cooperation among students, educators, educational institutions, and the aviation industry. NIFA I will be an introductory class for the familiarization of basic flight and ground events and how it relates to safety. Differential tuition rates apply. To take this course students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher and be selected to the Aims Aviation Flight Team. One-half credit.
