Concurrent Enrollment
Concurrent Enrollment allows high school students in grades 9-12 to earn college credit and high school credit simultaneously. Students can work toward a post-secondary diploma, certificate or degree while still enrolled in high school, with in-district tuition paid by the school district or charter school. Where applicable, college credit may also count toward high school graduation requirements.
Approval must be received from the student’s high school, counselor/administrator, and/or school district before enrolling. Eligible students must meet all course or program requirements and prerequisites before registering. All classes become part of the student’s permanent college transcript. Please note that federal and state financial aid is not available to high school concurrent-enrollment students.
For more information, contact High School Programs. Learn more about the Concurrent Enrollment Program from the Colorado Department of Education.

P-TECH
Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) is designed to bridge the gap between education and the workforce. P-TECH is an innovative public-private partnership model in Colorado that prepares students for high-skill, high-demand careers. This model brings together school districts, community colleges, and industry partners in a coordinated, collaborative structure.
Beginning in 9th grade, students follow a six-year pathway (through grade 14), completing up to two years of college coursework alongside their high school education. Graduates earn both a high school diploma and an industry-recognized associate degree, preparing them for immediate entry into the workforce.
The academic focus aligns with the Colorado Talent Report and includes pathways in high-demand fields such as architecture and engineering, computer science, healthcare, and business. To support student success, P-TECH offers mentoring, internships, pre-apprenticeships, and other structured support services. The program is open to all students and emphasizes access for historically underrepresented populations, including first-generation college students, English language learners, and students with disabilities.
