Assessment

Assessment helps students understand their academic readiness and supports course placement decisions. Students may be encouraged to complete writing and/or math assessment using the Accuplacer placement exam. Some programs require assessment testing.

New and returning students are responsible for providing assessment scores prior to advising and registration. Common assessment sources include ACT, SAT, and Accuplacer.

When requesting Accuplacer scores from another institution, have them sent to: assessment@aims.edu
