AMT 1104 - Aviation Electricity and Electronics

Introduces basic AC and DC electrical theory. Topics include introduction of digital electronics as applied to aircraft systems, capacitive and inductive circuits, solid state and optical electric devices, and preparation for the National Coalition Certification Centers (NC3) basic electricity and multimeters certification. Differential tuition rates apply. Restricted to Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Airframe, or Powerplant majors only. Course is not repeatable for credit.

Prerequisite(s): MAT 1100 and PHY 1030 with grades of “C” or better.
