AMT 1105 - Cleaning and Corrosion, Inspection Concepts and Techniques

Introduces the causes of corrosion and methods to prevent and treat corrosion in aircraft structures. Topics include methods of inspection, non-destructive testing, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems. Differential tuition rates apply. Restricted to Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Airframe, or Powerplant majors only. Course is not repeatable for credit.

Prerequisite(s): AMT 1103 with a grade of “C” or better.
