AMT 2104 - Aircraft Electrical Systems and Basic Avionics

Introduces the operation, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft electrical systems with emphasis on alternators, motors, lighting systems and the wiring as well as control and circuit protection devices. This course also introduces basic avionics, which includes communication, navigation systems, flight instrument theory and operation and the inspection, maintenance, and installation requirements for these systems. Differential tuition rates apply. Restricted to Aviation Maintenance Technician majors only. Course is not repeatable for credit.

Prerequisite(s): AMT 1101, AMT 1102, AMT 1103, AMT 1104, AMT 1105, AMT 1106, AVT 1001, MAT 1100, and PHY 1030 with grades of “C” or better.
