Offers an in-depth exploration of air traffic control tower operations, building upon foundational knowledge from previous AVT courses. Covers complex scenarios involving aircraft takeoffs, landings, and ground movements, simulating real-world challenges encountered in busy terminal environments. Emphasis is placed on advanced sequencing, conflict resolution, and coordination among various control positions, including local, ground, and clearance delivery. Restricted to Air Traffic Control majors only. Course is not repeatable for credit.

Prerequisite(s): AVT 2043 and AVT 2045 with grades of “C” or better.
