Program Description

Welding is a vital skill that impacts nearly every industry worldwide, offering a challenging, dynamic, and rewarding career. The Aims Welding Technology Program provides students with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to successfully enter the welding field. Students receive comprehensive training in cutting, welding, and metal fabrication processes, as well as print reading, layout, metallurgy, and weld inspection. Success in this program requires attention to detail and a commitment to developing advanced skills through steady, patient practice in the art of welding and metal fabrication.

Note: The Welding Department requires students to earn a minimum grade of “C” (70% or higher) in all welding courses. Final scores below 70% will result in a failing grade of “F.”
