Program Overview

The Fire Science Technology degree and certificate programs prepare students for entry-level occupations in the fire service while also providing advanced training for individuals already employed in the field who are seeking career advancement. Job opportunities may be found in municipal fire departments, fire protection districts, and industrial fire departments.

Students interested in continuing their education toward a four-year degree have transfer opportunities through selected university programs.
