Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Accounting Program, students will be able to:
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports using a variety of accounting documents and sources.
- Analyze fundamental accounting concepts and understand how financial statements interrelate.
- Utilize appropriate software and technology to produce professional business documents.
- Research and analyze accounting concepts and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of current regulations.
- Apply critical thinking to accounting scenarios and present relevant solutions.
- Demonstrate professional skills including teamwork, communication, timeliness, and job readiness.
- Make ethical and well-informed business recommendations grounded in accounting principles.
- Identify motivational strategies to support effective team and workplace dynamics.
- Communicate effectively using various electronic platforms, including email.
