Potential Opportunities
The Building Construction Site Management A.A.S. is the first of its kind in Colorado. It prepares students for a wide range of technical construction management roles such as project management, general contracting, on-site superintendent, estimating, materials testing, owner/architect’s representative, real estate development, technical sales, and financing. Graduates may enter the workforce or transfer to four-year programs.
Essential Skills
Students should have manual dexterity, good eyesight, and the ability to perform manual operations, such as lifting and operating test equipment. Some courses may be suitable for physically impaired students; please contact a program advisor for accommodations.
Construction Trades Program
This program combines construction trades theory with hands-on skills through full-scale projects and modern tools, emphasizing Safe Work Practices. Flexible instructional delivery prepares students for employment and helps employers upgrade workforce skills.
