MGD 268 - Commercial Art Business

Presents a guide to freelance work and a study of business practices and procedures unique to commercial art including billing rates, client management, business forms, employee management, taxes, licenses, registration, bid processes and self-promotion. Course may include visits by professionals in the field and discussion of career opportunities and professional organizations. Corequisite(s): MGD 278. Two credits.
