ASL 121 - American Sign Language ICredits: 5 (Formerly: ASL 111) Exposes the student to American Sign Language. Readiness activities are conducted focusing on visual/receptive skills and basic communication. Utilizes the direct experience method. Students must complete this course with a `B` or higher or pass the ASL proficiency test with a score of at least 80% or better prior to registering for ASL 122 if planning to enroll in the Interpreter Preparation Program. Prerequisite(s): ASL 101 or permission of instructor. Five credits.
